Genuinely — bring them. We'll install them in both the XC60 and XC90 before you sign anything. It settles the two-row-versus-three-row question in ten minutes.
Plug-in hybrid math for a short commute
If you drive under 30 miles a day and can charge in the garage, the Recharge does most of your week on electricity. If not, the mild hybrid is the honest answer.

XC60 or XC90 for two kids?
Two kids and occasional guests: XC60. Two kids plus regular carpool or grandparents: XC90. Come install the seats in both and you'll know.
Does a third row fit adults?
In the XC90, yes for shorter trips. It's a real third row, not a token one, but the second row is where adults belong.
Is the plug-in hybrid worth the premium?
With home charging and a short commute, usually yes. Without home charging, no — and I'll say that.
