EX90
The flagship, reimagined without the engine.
The EX90 is Volvo's electric flagship — three rows, seven seats, and a computing platform that the rest of the lineup will inherit over the next few years. It's the most technically ambitious car Volvo has ever built.
From the low $80,000s
The EX90 is a considered purchase. Text me and I'll walk you through the real ownership picture — charging, software, delivery timing — before you commit to anything.

Hi, I’m Inna. I put this page together for anyone considering the EX90.
Everything here is what I usually walk my clients through in person — the trims that actually matter, how the powertrains compare, and what the numbers look like. If a question pops up, just text me. I answer fast, and I’ll save you the back-and-forth with the floor.
Available EX90s right now.
The three things I’ll say about the EX90 first.
LiDAR on the roof
The EX90 sees further than any Volvo before it — the foundation for future hands-off highway driving software updates.
Bidirectional charging ready
The hardware is in place to power your house from the battery. Software rollout is progressive.
The quietest cabin Volvo has built
No engine, thicker glass, and acoustic laminated windows. Long drives feel dramatically shorter.

The EX90 is Volvo's flagship, rethought as an EV. It's a considered buy — most of my EX90 clients take a few weeks, and that's the right pace.
Built in South Carolina on a bespoke EV platform, the EX90 delivers 300+ miles of EPA range and pairs it with LiDAR-supported driver assistance and bidirectional charging capability. The cabin is the quietest Volvo has ever measured.
- Families ready to commit fully to electric
- XC90 owners who want the next-generation experience
- Buyers cross-shopping the Rivian R1S, BMW iX, or Mercedes EQS SUV
- Households with home solar or Level 2 charging installed
Ways to drive it.
Dual permanent-magnet motors, all-wheel drive, 111 kWh battery.
Same battery, uprated motors, adaptive air suspension standard.

Range is only half the story. What matters is your home charging setup and how you road-trip. Tell me both and I'll be straight with you.
Safety, cabin, technology.
- Roof-mounted LiDAR paired with radar and cameras
- Standard Pilot Assist with lane centering
- Driver Understanding System — attention and drowsiness detection
- Occupant sensing that detects sleeping children in every seat row
- Volvo's most rigid safety cage to date
- Six- or seven-seat configuration
- Recycled wool blend, Nordico, or Nappa upholstery
- Panoramic glass roof with electrochromic dimming (available)
- Bowers & Wilkins 25-speaker Dolby Atmos audio (available)
- Second-row captain's chairs and heated third row available
- 14.5" portrait touchscreen — largest ever fitted to a Volvo
- 9" driver display with contextual layout
- Head-up display standard
- 250 kW DC fast charging — 10–80% in about 30 minutes
- Over-the-air updates for both infotainment and driving systems

Sit in the second row before you decide on layout. On a car this size, that's the seat your family will actually live in.
The numbers, briefly.

Three rows with a genuinely usable third row, and enough cargo behind it for a weekend. Bring the car seats to the test drive.
What an EX90 actually costs to own
At this level the conversation is total cost over the years you'll keep it: lease structure versus purchase, home charging setup, and what your current car is worth today. I'll put the whole picture together for you in one place.
EV incentives, lease programs and allocation timing all move. I'll confirm what applies to you right now.
Text me for today’s numbers“It's a big commitment.”
It is. Take your time — I don't chase, and I'll keep you posted on allocations without pressure.
“Software and charging worry me.”
Fair. I'll walk you through updates, home charging and what real-world road trips look like before you sign anything.
“I want honest pricing.”
You get the out-the-door number in writing, and I'll tell you if waiting for a better allocation makes sense.
“The EX90 is the car I demo to my clients who ask 'what's next?'. If you home-charge and take long trips, it's the most complete electric flagship on the market right now — and I mean that having driven all of them.”
About the EX90.
Does the LiDAR do anything today?+
Yes — it's already used in emergency braking and lane awareness. Future OTA updates will expand its role in Pilot Assist.
How is it different from the XC90?+
The XC90 is a hybrid three-row you can refuel anywhere. The EX90 is a purpose-built EV with more space, more tech, and more range per charge than any Volvo before it.
Charging at home?+
A Level 2 setup fully charges the EX90 overnight. For road trips, plan around 350 kW-capable DC fast chargers along I-95 and I-81.

The mistake I see on the EX90: deciding on spec sheets. Drive it, sit in every row, then we talk numbers.
Tell me what you need. I’ll do the sorting.
